Twin Cities based Improv duo. Fast. Hilarious. Inspired. Indescribable tbh. And aside from being Black this is NOTHING like 90s TV show Sister, Sister.

Although Heraldo performs a Harold entirely in Spanish – English-speakers are the target audience. The improvisers who perform are pros, able to convey what’s going on in a particular scene without the safety net of a witty retort.
Juliet & Juliet
An improv duo from Minneapolis, MN, Juliet & Juliet improvise eloquent, oddball, feminist Shakespeare. They love language. They love murdering one another. They definitely love empowering female characters more than Will did. While much shorter than Shakespeare’s original works, everything from comedies to tragedies to the occasional history play is within their scope. Kings will be fools, fools will fall in love, lovers will die – and women will get what they want.
Juliet & Juliet have performed at HUGE Theater and as guests of Duofest (PA), the Improvised Play Festival (TX), the Twin Cities Improv Festival (MN), Stumptown Improv Festival (OR), Mprov (Montreal), the Detroit Improv Festival (MI), Out of Bounds (TX), and the Ocean State Improv Festival (RI). In Minneapolis, you can catch Meghan and Sami improvising in ComedySportz, Rated-G: the Improvised Family-Friendly Musical, and in Manners & Misconduct: Improvised Jane Austen, the project during which they were introduced, as well as teaching and directing classes and shows around town

Matt Damon Improv
The cast of Matt Damon Improv is comprised of all women of color “slaying improv comedy.”
Sometimes featuring a special guest white male (Matt Damon) or female (Lena Dunham,) or improv comedy veteran who can only speak when repeating things that the women of Matt Damon Improv have already said in the show – forcing the guest Matt Damon/Lena Dunham to really listen and take a baby step in a woman of color’s shoes.
With a cast of improv comedy veterans in New York City, North Coast’s explosive performances have been packing comedy venues, universities, and festivals nationwide since 2009. Built around a single suggestion from an audience member, the show’s improvised scenes escalate into full-blown hip-hop songs, facilitated by resident beatboxer, Ethan “Exacto” Scott. With their seamless melding of comedic timing and freestyle rapping abilities, North Coast frequently blurs the line between comedy show and concert, drawing audiences from the comedy, hip-hop, and theater communities for an experience that has been hailed as “mind-blowing” and “next level” by critics and audiences alike.
Named one of the “Top Ten Best Comedy Shows” by Time Out New York, North Coast has been featured on Vh1, in Slate’s Podcast The Gist, The Village Voice, and The New York Times Comedy Listings. Currently, you can catch them performing every Saturday night in New York City at The Peoples Improv Theater.
